Teaching Career Exploration to my 7th graders this week. Great timing. We are exploring how things will be different 20-30 years from now by exploring how things have changed the last 20 years. How will we adapt? How can we prepare now? I’m using this today. So glad we are on the same page!

I am looking into this for my grandson. As a retired Java/Python/OS developer I am very interested in the tools that the kids will use to develop their software, but so far I have not been able to find which are used. can anyone advise on what toolsets are used for editing/compiling/testing etc?

Thanks for the help

George Brooke

Hello there! For a 15 year old I really like our Game Programming with Python and JavaScript tracks! You get to build a game from the ground up and gain experience with professional tools such as Atom and IDLE. Both of the languages are extremely popular and demand for both is growing quickly. Hope this helps!
